No Contact Orders
As a Defendant in a criminal case, there is not much you can do once a pre-trial no contact order is issued. You can make the situation worse by violating the order, however.
The victim can petition the Court to get rid of the No Contact Order. Most court clerk's offices will have a form that the victim can fill out requesting a hearing in front of the Judge. Counties vary greatly on whether these requests
will mean anything. In King and Snohomish Counties, Judges will rarely remove an order before the end of the case.
